Mariano Di Vaio  Italy's Male-Fashion Guru      April 14, 2013

Italy is well known for being one of the premier fashion capitols of the world. With gorgeous Milan, Rome, and Florence each acting as major destinations for die-hard fashionistas, it's no shock that my first featured blogger happens to be from such a remarkable place.

Meet Mariano di Vaio: at only 23 years old, he's one of the biggest names in male fashion blogging as well as a male model for designers of the likes of Roberto Cavalli. Mario's site, MDVstyle.com, is known as being Italy's first male-centered fashion blog. Meeting tremendous success with his blog, Mariano decided to supplement his growing influence with other networks like Twitter and Instagram, gaining more and more support. In fact, it was through Instagram that I first discovered Mariano's impeccable taste in men's fashion- although I do admit that it was his astounding good looks that first attracted my attention!

Mariano's style is a meld of classic silhouettes and sophisticated modern edge. Known by now for his signature windswept hair that seems to look perfect no matter what, as well as his surprisingly fitting goatee, he's taking the online fashion world by storm. My favorite thing is
when he throws a printed bow tie into one of his looks. I'm honestly quite a sucker for handsome Italian men in bow ties. 

This Italian sweetheart is one great example for all the gentlemen out there. Guys, if you want to impress a girl, there's really not much better than looking the part of Prince Charming.  I like to call Mario il mio fratello italiano for our shared homeland- viva Italia! Mariano, I wish you the best, and continued success in your bright future!
